How do I figure square yards?You would take the length X the width and
divide it by 9.

Are stairs included in the $35.00 whole house special?-Standard stair
installation is included. Standard stairs have a riser capping both ends of the
stair treads, thus creating a "box". Stairs treads that are not boxed in will
cost more, as do wrapping of each step. These questions will be answered
during your FREE in-home measure.
How long does and in-home measure take? It takes about an hour or so.
Do you bring samples? Yes, we will ask you a few questions over the
phone to make sure we come as prepared as possible.
How long will my installation take? This depends on the size of the area,
but we will give you an idea of time once we've seen the area.
Do I need padding, and if so, what types do you offer? In most
installations we suggest padding for comfort. If there is a chance of water
infiltration, we may suggest a direct glue down. This type of installation does
not use padding. We carry a variety of pads including hypoallergenic ranging
from $4.00 per sy to $9.99sy. We will not install over old padding.
How long does special order carpet take to come in? Approximately 7-10
days provided it's in stock at the mill.
How long from the date of my order until I get my carpet installed? As
soon as the next day following the arrival of your carpet to our warehouse.
I need carpet installed ASAP, can you help? We install stock carpet and
remnant carpets the next day or if possible, the same day!
How does a company offer buy 1 room, get 2 FREE? We would assume
they have added the "FREE" rooms in the room you purchased.
Do you offer FREE pad and rip & haul like some other companies?
These products and services cost money, so as for "FREE", that would be
impossible!
What areas do you service? The entire great state of Connecticut!
Does At Home Carpet install any other types of flooring? We install
residential carpet, carpet tile and commercial carpet, carpet tile & VCT tile.
How long is my installation warranted for? For 1 year
